According to the National Geographic, penguins are rapidly disappearing from the face of the Earth: “Over the past 50 years, the population of Antarctic emperor penguins has declined by 50 percent”, claims NG.
A BioScience article entitled, “Penguins as Maritime Sentinels”, suggests this decrease in population may be due to global warming and other environmental hardships. To find out more click here
